Buses to and from Gibraltar Airport (GIB)
Buses are among Gibraltar's modes of transportation. It gives commuters accessible transfer services whenever and wherever within the territory and nearby areas.
In Gibraltar, there are a total of eight bus routes. These are served by two bus operators; Gibraltar Bus Company and Calypso Transport.
A government-owned bus service, Gibraltar Bus Company operates routes 1 to 9 with a fleet of 21 buses. 18 are Dennis Dart rear-engined single-decker low-floor midibuses and three Mercedes-Benz Sprinter minibusses.
Dart buses started its service in 2004 when the company was also officially formed.
Meanwhile, Calypso Transport serves route number 5, between the Frontier, the airport, and the city center. This operator uses a red fleet of double-decker buses.
Note that bus tickets running route no. 5 from Calypso Transport and those by Gibraltar Bus Company are not interchangeable.

- Adult- £1.80 for a Single Pass and £2.50 for an All Day Pass
- Pensioner- £1.00 for a Single Pass and £1.50 for an All Day Pass
- Child- £1.50 for a Single Pass and £2.00 for an All Day Pass
Bus at Gibraltar Airport
Bus service number 5 serves Gibraltar Airport. It stations at Gibraltar Market Place to Airport/Frontier. Meanwhile, the bus stop at Gibraltar Airport is located on Winston Churchill Avenue, just a two-minute walk from the passenger terminal building.
