Santander Railway Station
Train passengers in Santander, Cantabria, Spain, will arrive at Santander Station, also known as Santander ADIF, to differentiate it from the Santander Feve station.
It first welcomed customers in 1858. It's a pair of stations; one for the Iberian gauge trains operated by Renfe and the other for the meter-gauge trains operated by FEVE, which run to Bilbao-Abando and Oviedo.
ADIF
After traveling on the high-speed Madrid-León line to Palencia, Alvia services switch to the regular rail network to reach Santander. A single Media Distancia service serves the classic line between Santander and Valladolid-Campo Grande. The Cercanas Santander rail line also originates at this station.
FEVE
Santander is connected to Liérganes and Cabezón de la Sal as a commuter service and regional services to Oviedo and Bilbao via the meter-gauge Feve Services. There is also a station for the Transcantábrico tourist train.
