A car park is one of the essential amenities an airport must have. Tenerife South Airport has an accessible car park for arriving and departing passengers.

Tenerife South Airport's official general car park is conveniently located a few meters from the passenger terminal.

P1 General Car Park is open 24 hours. It offers immediate access to the departures area, has an open-air car park with covered spaces, and has adapted spots for people with reduced mobility. It is divided into two sections for long-term and short-term parking. For parking fees, you may pay manually at the counter, automatic pay station, and via mobile.

Disabled Parking at Tenerife South Airport

For drivers with limited mobility or disability, there are assigned parking spots, all situated in the most suitable areas near the airport's passenger terminal building. Put your disability license badge in the window of your car or present it to the car park personnel.

Passengers with disabilities requiring help should be at the airport at least three hours ahead of their flight schedule. For those needing extra airport assistance, please contact your airline and make arrangements before you arrive at the airport.

You can book your parking space using the Aena App in the "Book your Car Park" section via the http://parking.aena.es website. Bookings must be made at least three hours before entering the airport.

The airport management also provides parking spaces for car hire companies and buses. Meanwhile, the assigned drop-off area for passengers is between the bus parking and the public car park.

Accessing the Car Park

When you access the car park with a booking, you should check that the ticket dispensed at the entrance barrier shows the localizer for your booking: If the localizer has been printed, you can continue and pay for your stay by returning at the automatic cash machines or using the Aena App. If the localizer has yet to be printed, you should go to the manual cash desk on your return.

Suppose you have the Payment by Registration service activated. In that case, the system will not issue a ticket and will allow you to access the car park automatically.

You can access it up to 3 hours before the arrival date and time set in your booking, which will still be valid.

The car park also has a General Civil Liability Policy with an insurance company that covers civil liability for car damages, theft, or destruction of motor vehicles, including fixed fittings and replacement parts that are the airport’s care.

However, the policy excludes objects or goods left inside the vehicles, manufacturer defects, defective repairs, or hidden damage that cannot be seen due to a lack of care in vehicle maintenance. Only repairs to the damage caused to the vehicle entrusted to the airport car park when it is returned will be considered.

It is recommended that claims for damages be made at the car park itself, before leaving the car park.
